Advent is a season of waiting and anticipation. It is a time that we remember Israel’s long wait coming of the Messiah, and our waiting for his return. As a season of waiting, Advent reminds us that the world is not yet as it should be. Our world is weary from struggles with sin, brokenness, violence and death. This Advent we will look at passages from the book of Isaiah that point us to the world’s true rest, renewal and restoration in Christ.
