Join us as we celebrate our rising 5th graders as they wrap up their time in Children’s Ministry and prepare to step into Bridge! Families of students who have just completed 4th grade are invited to join us after the second service (approximately 12:15 PM) downstairs in the large group area for pizza and cupcakes. During this special time, our Children’s Ministry leaders will celebrate all the ways these students have grown throughout their years and recognize this important milestone. Our CSM leaders will also share a brief overview of what to expect in Bridge, answer any questions and take some time to get to know both students and parents. We’re excited to celebrate this transition together and welcome your family into this next season!

Calling all rising 5th and 6th graders! Join us for our Bridge Kickoff on Saturday, August 15, from 2:00–4:00 PM at 4410 E. Mission Blvd. We’ll celebrate the start of a new year together with a pool party, snacks, games and plenty of fun! Whether you’re new to Bridge or returning for another year, this is a great opportunity to make new friends, reconnect after the summer and get excited for all that’s ahead. Grab your swimsuit and come join us—we can’t wait to see you there!

CSM is back, and we’re kicking off the new year with an evening you won’t want to miss! All rising 7th–12th graders are invited to join us on Sunday, August 16, from 6:00–8:00 PM for an unforgettable kickoff celebration. We’ll have a pool party, dinner, an inflatable obstacle course, and plenty of games and fun as we reconnect after the summer and welcome new students into the CSM community.

As a new school year begins, we’d love to help our church family and college students get to know one another! Join us on Sunday, August 16, between the 9:00 and 10:45 AM worship services on the square for donuts and casual conversation. Whether you’re a longtime member or new to the area for school, this is a simple, fun opportunity to make connections, meet new people and help our college students feel at home. We hope you’ll stop by!

Join us on Sunday, August 30, for our Congregational Meeting beginning at 4:00 PM. During this one-hour meeting, we’ll share updates on the life of our church, including our finances, vision and other important ministry initiatives. Whether you’ve been at Christ Community for years or are newer to our church family, this is a valuable opportunity to hear where God is leading us and how you can be part of what He’s doing. After the meeting, from 5:00–7:00 PM, we’re encouraging our City Groups to head out together to kick off the new semester with a meal, gathering or time of fellowship. If you’re not yet connected to a City Group, we’d love to help you find one! Childcare will be available downstairs from 4:00–7:00 PM for families participating in the meeting and City Group Night Out. Please register for childcare in advance!

Join us this fall as we journey through the book of Leviticus together. Beginning the week of September 14, our men’s and women’s Bible studies offer a meaningful opportunity to grow in your understanding of God’s Word and connect with others in our church family. Women’s Bible Study meets on Tuesdays from 9:00–10:30 AM, with childcare available. Men’s Bible Study meets on Wednesdays from 6:30–7:30 AM. Whether you’ve studied Leviticus before or are opening it for the first time, we’d love for you to join us as we explore God’s holiness, His presence with His people and how this often-overlooked book points us to Christ.
