Good Friday is an opportunity to remember again the crucifixion of Christ. St. James Baptist Church has again invited us to join them for their Good Friday service, so consider joining us on Friday, April 18, at 7:00 PM at St. James Baptist (764 W. North St. in Fayetteville).

Kids, join us for our annual Easter Egg Hunt! On Saturday, April 19, we’ll be at Walker Park from 10:30 AM-12:00 PM for some Easter fun and community fellowship! Bring a basket or bag to collect your eggs and we’ll see you there!

We have two services offered on Easter morning at 9:00 AM and 10:45 AM. There will be childcare available during both services for infant-preschool kids. Our elementary kids will be joining us for the service! We hope to see you there!

Join some CCC individuals and families for an Easter potluck on Sunday, April 20! If you don’t have plans on Easter Sunday, we’ll have some great food and the chance to meet some new friends downstairs at 101 W. Mountain at 1:00 PM that day! Join us for a two week adult seminar, “Studying Scripture: The Basics” taught by long-time JBU professor, our very own Robbie Castleman! Want to be equipped to pick up a Bible and study it for joy and instruction? Come join us! This class will be held during the 10:45 AM worship service downstairs in the adult seminar room on April 27 and May 4. Register online at cccfay.com.

We’ll have a short congregational meeting to move forward with our new deacons and deaconesses on Sunday, April 27. We will introduce our new deaconesses, and present the new deacon candidates for election. We’ll start at 10:15 AM, so that people can come from both the 9:00 AM and 10:45 AM services. Childcare will be available downstairs.

The Table is a wide-entry, low risk, open table of conversation for CCC members, CCC friends, guests, and any combination of the above to chat across the table. Christian and Dave will be posted up at a location to dialogue about different faith-related topics. Our next night is Thursday, May 22 from 7:00 PM- 9:00 PM. No need to register, just grab a seat at the table, order food if you want and let’s talk!
