The gospel promises rest in Jesus. Our hope lies not in our own efforts, but in Jesus’ finished work. We desire to be a place where you can rest in the certain knowledge of God’s secure love for you in Jesus.
The gospel promises renewal in Jesus. The gospel is more than just how we are made right with God, but also how we are made new by the power of his Spirit.
The gospel promises restoration in Jesus. He is making all things new. Through the power of his resurrection, he is restoring everything that sin has fractured in us and the world.
We embrace biblical and historical Christianity as expressed in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments, and as summarized in the Nicene and Apostles’ Creeds. These beliefs knit us together with all of God’s faithful people around the world and throughout history. Additionally as a Reformed church, we affirm the five core principles of the Protestant Reformation: that we are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, as revealed through the Scriptures alone, and that this is all for the glory of God alone.
We believe that we are all works in progress – whether you are just checking out Christianity, returning to church after some time away, or have been following Jesus for decades. None of us are finished products. But we believe that God, by his grace and through his Spirit is patiently yet persistently remaking us and renewing us in his image. So we hope that you’ll join us in this journey of dependence and growth that we are on together as we follow Jesus by faith.
We don’t just want to build a great church, we want to help build a great city. We love Fayetteville and we love our location right on the downtown square. As an outpost of God’s Kingdom in our city, we seek to proclaim the good news, embody mercy and justice, encourage a thoughtful faith, and to encourage God’s people to see their daily life and work as a meaningful participation in God’s work in our city and beyond.
We live in a world that is fractured along the lines of race, class, age, gender, ability and political party. Yet the Scriptures tell us that the Kingdom of God is made up of people from every race, tribe, tongue and nation. We are called to pursue the kind of community that reflects this beautiful unity-in-diversity of the Kingdom of God and in so doing give witness to the reconciling power of the gospel.

We believe that a healthy church should be connected with other churches and deeply rooted in a theological tradition that has stood the test of time. The church described in the Bible is a connected church, not isolated, but collaborative and interdependent. We are connected to other local churches in mutual help, encouragement and mission. We seek to establish strong relationships with other gospel-proclaiming churches and ministries in our community so that we might co-labor for the good of our city.
We are a member of the Presbyterian Church in America. This means that we are connected to a group of churches that share missional and theological commitments, and that work together to ensure mutual accountability, doctrinal faithfulness, and collaborative ministry.
